I know everyone says this, but I swear that Mondays are always the worst day of my entire week. It didn't even start out that bad, but things just kept going wrong throughout the day. So, now it's the end of the day and I'm in a horrible mood.
It's time for yoga. Or beer.
Maybe both?
I'm sorry for being such a Debby Downer. Maybe these pictures of me smiling will make up for it.
On Friday, I wore a Forever 21 top, Old Navy pants and Sam Edelman sandals.

Rags from the Past
I've been working hard on a separate blog for one of my multimedia journalism classes. I'm writing it with two other classmates for the remainder of the spring semester. It's called Rags from the Past and it's all about the local vintage and thrift stores here in Austin.
I'm going to be linking to this blog pretty often because I think my readers will find our posts interesting. We have been writing reviews of local stores, like Cream Vintage and Blue Velvet, and items we've bought at each store. My most recent post was a review of a vintage dress from Cream. Check it out here.

Internship Fair Flop
This is my last summer as a college student, so I don't want to waste it. On Wednesday, I went to the Communication Job & Internship Fair hoping to find something worthwhile to do before my last semester at UT. I don't know if I'm just being picky, but it seemed as though none of the employers fit the type of experience I'm looking for. I left the fair feeling pretty disappointed.
I have a few backup plans, but I'm still hoping to find something perfect. What I really want is a paid job or internship that combines fashion, writing, and social media. Even though the fair wasn't a success, I still have plenty of time to keep looking.
On Wednesday, I wore a Target dress from Savers ($7) and Target shoes, from the actual store ($20).
