Thrifted Treasure: Black Boots

Gap shirt, thrifted skirt from Goodwill, thrifted boots
from Texas Thrift Store, vintage hat from Cream Vintage,
necklace from Target

It's Thursday! That means it's time to show off one of my latest thrifted treasures. I thrifted another great pair of shoes over the weekend. This time, it was a pair of black leather boots for only $12.99. It was a total coincidence that I was able to keep up the alliteration from last week (Brown Boots). I wonder if I can thrift a burgandy belt or a brown beret next week. I'll keep my eyes peeled!

Fancy Pants

thrifted Anne Klein dress, Forever 21 belt, Zara shoes

This was what I wore to the Career Fair last week. Even though the fair was a total bust, I felt very professional in my outfit. The majority of employers were mostly advertising firms and marketing companies, which I'm not really qualified to work for. I'm a writer, people! I want a job that allows me to write about the things I'm passionate about. I guess that means I'm either going to be unemployed or self-employed. I really hope it's the latter.

Nat in a Hat

thrifted blouse, Zara jeans, DV Dolce Vita booties,
vintage hat from Cream Vintage

I have to admit that I've never really been a hat person. I've probably worn less than five different hats my whole life, including this one. I'm think I'm a little subconscious about having something on top of my head. It just doesn't feel natural to me. I decided to give this hat a chance though. It's a really pretty color and has the perfect brim width--somewhere between a floppy hat and a fedora. I'm not really what style of hat this is, but I think I like it. Maybe I'll start giving hats the chance they deserve.
