blouse from Buffalo Exchange, thrifted skirt from the Goodwill outlet, estate sale necklace from my step-mom, Zara wedges |
I'm getting really good at dressing for interviews. I've found that pencil skirts are key for feeling confident as well as a pair of kick-ass, comfortable shoes. I'm way more comfortable in wedges because when I wear heels, I'm convinced I'm going to fall on either my face or ass. I don't know which is worse, but I don't want to find out. I'll stick with my trusty wedges, thank you.
Some good news--I'm finally starting to feel better. I'm not 100%, but at least I can breathe through my nose again and I don't feel like my face is about to explode. I'm feeling so much better that I even decided to do some yoga at home yesterday. It had been almost four months since I practiced, so I'm not surprised at how sore I am today. My arms and chest are so sore that when I was laying on my stomach and reading in bed, I tried to lift myself up and fell face-first back down. It's embarrassing how out of shape I've become, but I already feel so much better about myself after just one workout. I'm planning to go back to Black Swan Yoga, but I want to get in better shape before I practice in public. Those yogis are hardcore and I need to be able to keep up!
What a classy look! Are you going to be at TxSC?
ReplyDeleteThanks! I just registered right now. Thanks for the reminder! Last year's TxSC was so much fun that I can't miss this year's.
