I Can't Believe it's 2012!

I had a wonderful New Year's Eve. Actually, it was probably one of my favorites. Matt and I decided to have a small get-together at our apartment before heading out to a friend's party to ring in the new year. This was the first time we hosted a little soiree together and it went surprisingly well. I made a couple of appetizers that I'd seen on my new favorite food blog, The Pioneer Woman, and a couple other treats. I felt very domestic cooking and cleaning all day to prepare. I think everyone had a really good time. Maybe because the champagne was flowing? No joke, ten people drank eight bottles. Then, we continued drinking champagne at the bigger party. It's no wonder I was hungover the next day. You gotta celebrate a new year the right way, though!
